Allergy Guidelines
Once you have seen Dr. Epperly for your initial allergy evaluation, together you will decide which testing would be right for you. You will then schedule testing with the allergy nurse. Once testing is complete you will review the results with Dr. Epperly and plan the best course of treatment. Once treatment begins it is required that you follow up with Dr. Epperly annually to monitor your progress and make any adjustments in your program.
Please inform the allergy nurse of any medication changes, especially new medications as there is an increased risk of adverse reactions with some medications.
Insurance generally does pay for allergy testing and shots, but as individual plans vary, we recommend you check with your own plan to see what is covered. It is expected that you will keep your accounts current. Allergy vials and shots can add up quickly especially during deductible time. Accounts that fall behind may be subject to an interruption in treatment. Allergy patients who are cash pay are eligible for a discount at the time of service for allergy only and payment is expected on the day services are rendered.
We ask that you do not wear ANY scented products to our office as this interferes with allergy testing and bothers our chemically sensitive patients.

Please make sure we have all possible current phone numbers where you can be reached (home, work, cell).
Upon receiving your shots it is required that you wait 20 minutes in the office under the supervision of the allergy nurse. If there is anything we can do to make your stay more comfortable, please let us know.
