Dr.
William Epperly, MD, FAAFP
Dr.
Epperly has been a board certified family practitioner since 1986.
He is native to the Chicago area, born and raised in the northwest
suburbs. He received his B.A.
from Augustana College and his M.D. degree from the University of
Illinois College of Medicine. He completed his three-year family
practice residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago. His practice is
exclusively office-based, although he has
been affiliated with Central Dupage Hospital since 1985. In addition,
he is a certified Clinical Nutritionist and a Fellow of the American
Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy and a Fellow
of the American Academy of Family Practice. He is also a member of the
American Academy of Environmental Medicine and the Christian Medical
and Dental Association.
In addition to his family
practice training, Dr. Epperly has received special training through
courses and seminars in the areas of allergy, environmental medicine and
clinical nutrition. This has enabled him to become enormously more
effective in dealing with chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, arthritis,
bowel problems, ADD, depression and many others, while being able to
rely much less on drug therapy. He also recognizes the multifactorial
nature of most illnesses and tries to deal with as many illness-causing
factors as possible. Furthermore, by understanding the important role of
nutrition, Dr. Epperly is better able to not only treat illnesses more
completely, but can help patients avoid illness, including such
devastating ones as cancer, heart disease and stroke.
